REAL-LIFE EXPERIENCES TO TAKE YOU WAY, WAY OUT OF OFFICE
RETREATS TO RECONNECT YOU
To yourself. To others. To your creativity and vision.
Our retreats in a nutshell:
Part personal development, part professional reset.
Our retreats are for mid-career folks in any industry who have an undernourished creative side. Weβve found these people are often asking themselves big questions:
Where am I headed in my career?
How do I bring more of my authentic self to life?
What kind of work gives me purpose and meaning?
What role do I want my job to play in my life?
Our retreats give you the tools and support to tap back into whatβs meaningful to you, so you return to your work, life, and creative projects renewed and resourced.
βThis was a transformative week Iβll be thinking about for monthsβif not years.β

OUR FLAGSHIP RETREAT:
THE SOFT RESET
An artfully held space in the French countryside where rest meets clarity, giving insight room to root.
What youβll do
Our flagship programming
Through structured sessions, introspective exercises, and expansive discussions, we explore:
Your values and shadows: Rediscover whatβs truly important to you, and get clear on the challenges your values present.
Your authentic desires and vision: Define what you really want, and set a North Star for the near future.
Your rituals and practices: Analyze your everyday opportunities to work toward your vision, and design and align your habits.
The daily schedule is light, open, flexible, and intentional. No strict agenda, and no forced fun.
What itβs about
Reconnect with your vision & purpose without the noise of daily life
Rediscover your values and vision, and learn how to apply them to your current situationβ be it at your current job, your next adventure, or your day-to-day life and creative practice.
Who itβs for

Anyone whoβs curious and intentional about showing up as their best self at work and in life will find something to take away. β¨β¨

How it goes
βI canβt stress enough the impact this reset has had on me. It has given me space to be what I needed to be, take time to find clarity and embody it.β

More from the participants of our last Soft Reset below.
NOT GURUS, BUT CURIOUS CURATORS. OF SPACE, TIME, AND PRESENCE.
Kevan & Shannon lead the weekβs main programming.
We are firm believers that the only real answers are the ones you come to yourself. The Soft Reset doesnβt offer one-size-fits-all adviceβor much βadviceβ at all. Itβs about crafting an intentional experience that prioritizes psychological safety, exploration, and connection while offering tools for individual and group self-inquiry.
Weβre not gurus or oraclesβjust folks who have been down this path and are passionate about walking it with a community.

Mary Jantsch is a writer and career strategist who helps people traverse the gap between knowing they want to make a career change and acting on it.
After a decade building teams and career development programming inside mission-driven startups, she tuned her attention to the patterns beneath how people grow, stall, and find their footing again.
She writes the newsletter Quite Contrary, builds tools, and works 1:1 with people using her Career Season Framework. Her work draws on ecology, systems thinking, personal experience with burnout and career change, and close observation of how conditions, timing, and environment shape growth.

As the founder of Writing One True Thing, Amy has spent over twenty years creating spaces where reflection becomes communal. She works with people who consider themselves writers β and those who donβt β guiding them to use language as a tool for clarity, integration, and forward movement.
Writing in community, she believes, allows individuals to articulate what matters most while recognizing themselves in one another.
